A Carolingian-type sword found in the Dnipro River near Khortytsia Island on 7 November 2011. It belongs to the ULFBERHT group of swords and is associated with the death of Prince Sviatoslav Ihorovych. The discovery has been the subject of many articles and news reports in Ukraine and abroad.
This news is woven through with prophecies, legends and recollections of the warlike Slavic prince who won victory after victory in the ceaseless campaigns that continued throughout his life. Miraculously raised from the depths of the Dnipro, the sword brought hope for a brighter future and a renewed sense of patriotism: love for one’s native land. The sword of the great prince, who wore a traditional Cossack hairstyle and is regarded as a noble knight of his time, returned to revive the greatness and chivalric spirit associated with its owner.
We offer you a replica of this very sword, so that you can feel in your hands the might and strength of the renowned Prince Sviatoslav, who was called the Brave for good reason. Today, this is the only product in Ukraine or abroad that recreates the original historical sword.
The sword can be ordered with the following options:
– The sword fittings are cast in non-ferrous or precious metals such as brass, bronze, cupronickel, silver and others. The fittings can be finished with blackening and matte lacquer (view here).
– Inscriptions and designs can be applied to the metal surface by electrochemical etching, at the customer’s request.
– Swords are made with blades of AISI 304 stainless steel or 40Kh13 high-carbon stainless steel.
– The scabbard and hilt are made from natural wood: linden, ash or oak.
– The scabbard and hilt are covered in genuine leather. The straps are also made from genuine leather.

Доброго дня. замовив такий меч, сам із Запоріжжя, багато чув про знахідку, захотілося мати такий у себе вдома для наочності. Меч-копія виготовлений у кустарних умовах якісно, всі матеріали чесні – сталь, шкіра, латунь, максимальна схожість з оригіналом (тільки без срібла та міді). напис зроблено оригінально. Документація додається. Термінами та роботою задоволений. Це моє не перше замовлення в майстерні. Рекомендую.

Неймовірна робота! Меч виглядає як справжня історична реліквія. Матеріали дійсно «чесні»: гарна сталь, приємна на дотик натуральна шкіра на руків’ї та якісне дерево. Баланс відчувається добре, фурнітура з латуні виконана дуже акуратно. Шкіра на ножнах прошита міцно, ремінці надійні. Дуже задоволений деталізацією та тим, як зброя лежить у руці. Видно, що майстри вкладають душу в кожен виріб. Рекомендую всім, хто шукає якісну репліку!
